Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said that he discussed joint drone production with the leadership of Saab.
He announced this during a joint press briefing with Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson at the Saab plant, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.
“We are very interested in serious joint production with Saab. We want to build drones. We are very interested and open to Sweden. We have excellent relations and wartime experience. Today, we have some of the best drones in the world. We will scale up our capabilities in partnership with Sweden,” Zelensky said.
According to him, joint drone production was one of the key topics during his talks with the Swedish prime minister and Saab executives.

Zelensky and Kristersson today signed a letter of intent on cooperation in the development of air capabilities.
Following the signing ceremony, Zelensky said that the document would pave the way for the potential transfer of around 100 Gripen jets.
