The total combat losses of Russian forces in their war against Ukraine from February 24, 2022, to October 8, 2025, are estimated at about 1,118,370 personnel, including 1,010 soldiers lost over the past 24 hours.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

In addition, Russian forces have lost: 11,240 (+2) tanks, 23,324 (+5) armored combat vehicles, 33,519 (+26) artillery systems, 1,517 (+1) multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS), 1,225 (+1) air defense systems, 427 (+0) aircraft, 346 (+0) helicopters, 67,965 (+401) operational-tactical UAVs, 3,841 (+0) cruise missiles, 28 (+0) warships / boats, one submarine, 63,650 (+75) vehicles and fuel trucks, 3,973 (+0) pieces of special equipment.

As Ukrinform reported, on October 7, as of 22:00, there were 174 combat engagements between Ukraine’s Defense Forces and Russian troops.
