
A man was killed and two people were wounded in the Bilopillia community in the Sumy region as a result of a Russian air strike.
According to Ukrinform, this was reported by Suspilne. Sumy, citing the Head of the Bilopillia community, Yurii Zarko.
“At 4:00 a.m. on October 8, as a result of KAB missile strikes in the village of Hyrine, residential buildings were hit. One man was killed and two were wounded,” Zarko said.
The Regional Prosecutor’s Office clarified that, according to preliminary data, the Russian army dropped three guided aerial bombs on residential buildings in the Bilopillia community. A 66-year-old man was killed in his home.
In addition, Zarko reported that on October 7, after 10 p.m., Russian invaders struck a store in Bilopillia with a drone, presumably a Molniya. A fire broke out, causing significant damage.
As reported, during the day, from the morning of October 7 to the morning of October 8, Russian troops carried out 202 shellings of 58 settlements in 19 territorial communities of the Sumy region. Three people were reported wounded.
