Ukraine and Israel can develop cooperation in agriculture, healthcare, infrastructure, and cybersecurity, with Israel interested in sharing its experience in post-war recovery.
Israeli Ambassador to Ukraine Michael Brodsky said this in an interview with Ukrinform.
” I believe there are several spheres where we can promote cooperation even now, and much more after the war. The main areas, as I can identify, are agriculture, because Israel’s experience in advanced agriculture is especially relevant to Ukraine. Water management, which we have already discussed. Health, where Israel has a huge and amazing reputation for its health services,” the diplomat said.
He also mentioned infrastructure and cybersecurity. Brodsky stressed that Israel’s experience in developing its economy and society despite wars and constant security threats is highly relevant for Ukraine.
The ambassador said that from the very beginning, Israel has provided humanitarian assistance to Ukraine, including deploying a field hospital in western Ukraine and training Ukrainian specialists in physical and psychological rehabilitation.
In addition, Brodsky confirmed Israel’s interest in joining Ukraine’s post-war reconstruction.
“Of course, it depends on how and when the war will be over, but Israeli companies are ready to participate. Israel is very interested in sharing its knowledge, experience, and best practices with Ukraine. I believe our knowledge will be extremely relevant and very beneficial to Ukraine after the war,” he said.
Earlier, President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that a Patriot system from Israel had already been operating in Ukraine for a month, with two more such systems expected to arrive this fall.
