From December 6 to 8, “Ukrainian Film Days” will take place in the capital of Italy.
The event is aimed at promoting Ukrainian cinema in the global community. It is intended to show that despite all the challenges, Ukrainian cinema has endured and continues to develop, captivating and surprising film enthusiasts both in Ukraine and abroad.
On December 6, the opening ceremony of the “Ukrainian Film Days” will take place. The opening film will be the psychological drama “Honeymoon” directed by Zhanna Ozirina.
On December 7:
- “How We Were Recruits” directed by Lyubomyr Levitsky
- “Aviation Breakthrough at Azovstal. Sky” directed by Artem Shevchenko
- “Yaroslav the Wise” directed by Olesya Nogina
Films created with the support of the State Film Agency of Ukraine:
- “Taste of Freedom” directed by Oleksandr Berezany
- “Rocky Road to Berlin” directed by Olha Ryashyna
On December 8, two screenings of films created with the support of the State Film Agency of Ukraine will take place:
- “Egregor” directed by Stanislav Kapralov
- “A Long Escape” directed by Andrea Mangani
A discussion panel will also be held: “Co-production with Ukraine: Challenges and Opportunities.” The event will take place at Casa del Cinema a Villa Borghese (Largo Marcello Mastroianni, 1).
Ukrainian Film Days in Rome is supported by the State Film Agency of Ukraine, the Embassy of Ukraine in the Italian Republic, the NGO UkrKinoFest, the Yulia Ihnatchenko Foundation, and Casa del Cinema a Villa Borghese.
