WBO, WBA, WBC heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (22-0, 14 KOs) has retained his title in the updated rankings of the best heavyweight boxers.
The rating was published by The Ring magazine; Champion, a sports news platform within Ukrainska Pravda’s holding company
Usyk headed the ranking after his victory over UK boxer Tyson Fury (34-1-1, 24 KOs) for the title of absolute world heavyweight champion.
The UK boxer Daniel Dubois, who recently knocked out Anthony Joshua in the IBF heavyweight title fight, moved up to second place. At the same time, Joshua moved from the 2nd to the 7th position.
The second fight between Usyk and Fury will occur on 21 December in Saudi Arabia. The status of the absolute world champion will not be at stake in the rematch, as Oleksandr vacated the IBF title.
