
An explosion hit the Bucha district of Ukraine’s Kyiv region early Monday, March 23, with police investigating the incident as a suspected attack.
Kyiv region police said they received a report at 5:35 a.m. from a local resident in Bucha, who said the blast damaged windows in her home.

Emergency responders, including police, firefighters and bomb disposal units, were dispatched to the scene.
Second blast at scene
While authorities were working at the site, a second explosion occurred, police said.
Law enforcement officers secured the area and warned residents about the risk of further blasts.
Police urged the public to follow safety instructions and avoid the restricted area as specialists continue to investigate the circumstances of the incident.
