From November 12 to 28, 2024, the art gallery of the National Library of Ukraine named after Yaroslav the Wise will exhibit the painting exhibition “To the Victory of Ukraine!” young abstract artist Danylo Nozdry.
Danylo was born on September 5, 2009 in Kyiv. He started drawing at the age of eight, and at the age of 9 he created his first painting “Colors of my Ukraine”. Today, the young man has more than 350 paintings. In his works, he boldly combines different styles and creates a new modern art based on his own worldview and worldview. The young artist already had personal exhibitions in Kyiv, Lviv, Rivne, and Chernivtsi. His paintings were exhibited at numerous art events in France, USA, Japan, South Korea, China, Switzerland, Argentina and other countries. Danylo is the winner of numerous prizes and awards, including six (!) Grand Prix (Paris, Oslo, Milan, Kyiv, Valencia and Monte Carlo).
Danyla’s surname is entered in the Book of Records of Ukraine. His paintings are kept in the National Art Museum of Ukraine, the Literary Memorial Museum-apartment of P. Tychyna, the Dnipro Art Museum, and private collections. D. Nozdrya actively supports the ZSU, donating his works to charity auctions. In 2023, an album containing reproductions of his 105 paintings was published.
“I want people, looking at my paintings, to believe in the Victory of Ukraine!” – says the patriotic artist. By the way, after the end of the exhibition, the entrance to which is free for everyone, several works will be donated to a charity auction in support of the Armed Forces.
