As part of the Drone Detector Rental Library initiative, the Daily Humanity Foundation has handed over ten Tsukorok drone detectors to Suspilne News for permanent use while carrying out professional duties in the field.
“Ukrainian journalists working near the combat zone are a target for the enemy. So the transfer of ten detectors means one more chance for our survival,” Suspilne News producer Anastasia Isaienkova said at a press conference at Interfax-Ukraine on Tuesday.

According to her, about 100 Suspilne News correspondents are currently working near the line of combat contact.
“However as journalists, we cannot carry EW systems or weapons to protect ourselves from Russian drones. That is why having a drone detector that warns of danger is very important for survival,” Isaienkova said.
Since not all media workers can afford Tsukorok drone detectors, which cost UAH 3,000, they can use devices from the Drone Detector Rental Library, which will provide verified media workers with free access to 50 detectors for use while carrying out professional duties in the field.
